New Copyright Laws

The SMH reported yesterday regarding the proposed changes to the current copyright laws in Australia.

One of the reasons this has been amended is to cover our obligations under the Oz-US Free Trade Agreement (AUSFTA), however the explanatory notes attached to this bill admit that this is possibly stricter in some ways than current US copyright laws...
